Classroom provides a set of tools for teachers to engage with their students efficiently.

With LectureNotes Classroom Teachers can conduct Online Live Lectures, Assignment(create, collect, evaluate submissions), Quiz, Attendance and more.

Teachers can teach upto 200 students at a time through live Lecture and all the Lectures are recorded and stored in the cloud for students to attend later.

A single place for all assignment management, including creation, collection, evaluation and publishing of results for the same.

A MCQ based Quiz, with time restriction, cheating restriction to help the teachers conduct online quiz right from the mobile of the students.

Automatic attendance for the students joining the Lecture.

Easy export for all the feature for simple integration with existing systems.

How many users can I teach in one Live-Lecture?

We support upto 250 student per Live-Lecture. Based on your active plan the number of allowed students may vary.

Question 3

My LIve-Lecture got closed automatically after 5 minutes. Why?

Accepted Answer

The system is created to give the best experience for every teacher and student using LectureNotes. If your Live-Lecture, at any given point has less than 3 members, the system will automatically close the Lecture to save the bandwidth for other teachers.

LectureNotes Classroom is configured for teaching multiple students at a time.

For a ONE-TO-ONE session, we suggest you use other Video Conferencing platform.

How to create a new Classroom at LectureNotes?

To Create a New Classroom, the user has to follow the steps as depicted below:

Click on the Register/Login button as shown below:

After logging in to the LectureNotes platform, the user will be seeing the below screen. To create a new classroom, the user has to click on My Classrooms tab

then click on Create Classroom button as depicted below:

After Clicking on the Create Classroom, a new window will pop out where the user has to fill in all the details and Click Submit.

Question 5

How to invite students to join the classroom?

The faculty can invite the students by either one the way as shown below

By clicking on the Invite Members button, Click on Add as depicted in the screen below.

Enter the email address of students separated by Comma (,)

The faculty can also invite the students by clicking on the Share button

Click on the Whatsapp of Facebook Button through which you would like to share as shown below

How to start a Live-Lecture?

To start to a Live Lecture, the faculty has to follow the steps as mentioned below:

Click on the Live-Lecture tab or click on Start Live Class as shown below.

After clicking on the Live Lecture or Start Live Class button, the faculty will be able to see the screen as shown below.

To add a Live Lecture the faculty has to click on the ‘+’ symbol or click Create New Live lecture as shown below:

Clicking on the ‘+’ symbol will show the option to either Start Live Lecture or Schedule Live Lecture. To start Live Lecture, click on Start Live Lecture, as shown below.

Clicking on the Start Live Lecture option will open the screen below, where the faculty have to enter the Topic for Lecture, Duration of the Lecture. Click Start Now.

After Clicking the Start Now button, the faculty/students can join the Live-Lecture by clicking on Join Now button as shown in the figure below

How to Schedule a Live Lecture?

To start to a Live Lecture, the faculty has to follow the steps as mentioned below:

Click on the Live-Lecture tab or click on Start Live Class as shown below.

After clicking on the Live Lecture or Start Live Class button, the faculty will be able to see the screen as shown below.

To add a Live Lecture the faculty has to click on the ‘+’ symbol or click Create New Live lecture as shown below:

Clicking on the ‘+’ symbol will show the option to either Start Live Lecture or Schedule Live Lecture. To schedule Live Lecture, click on Schedule Live Lecture, as shown below.

After selecting Schedule Live Lecture, the following screen will show, where the faculty have to fill in the Topic for Lecture, Duration of Lecture. Choose Date & Time. Click Schedule.

Once the live-lecture has been scheduled, the user has to join the Lecture at the said time and Click on Join Now button to attend the Live-Lecture

Question 8

How to Share content(notes, presentations etc) with the Students?

The faculty can share the notes/PowerPoint presentation by following the steps below

Click on the Contents tab as shown below.

Clicking on the contents tab will take the faculty to the screen below where the faculty can create a Module by clicking on the ‘+’ symbol.

After clicking the ‘+’ symbol, the faculty needs to enter the details. Click Create as shown in the screen below.

Double-clicking on the Folder will open the screen as shown in the figure below. After clicking in create the folder will be created as shown below.

To add material, click on the ‘+’ symbol. The Faculty can share the notes either by clicking on Add Material/Upload File.

Clicking on Upload file option will open the following screen.

If the user is uploading the file for the first time, the user has to click on “Authenticate with Google” which will allow us to store the copy of the document in Google Drive.

The faculty can click on Browse and could upload the files from their system (PC/Laptop). Click on the browse button and select the file, click Open.

Click on Upload 1 file button as shown in the screen below.

Note: Google does not allow us to read any other file except the one that we create

How to Create an Assignment for the students?

To create Assignments for the students, follow the steps below:

Click on the Assignments tab as depicted below:

After clicking on the Assignments tab, the faculty will be forwarded to the screen as shown below

To add Assignment, the faculty could either click ‘+’ symbol or click on the link Click Here to Add one as shown in the screenshot below

After clicking on either the ‘+’ symbol or Click here to add one, the faculty would have to enter Topic Name, Submission Deadline and Total Marks. They need to upload the file by clicking on Browse. Click Create.

Question 10

How can the students Submit Assignments?

Accepted Answer

The students can submit their assignment by clicking on the Submit Now button as shown below.

After Clicking on the Submit Now button, the students will be forwarded to the following screen.

They can download the assignment by clicking on Download Assignment button

Once they have completed the assignment, they can upload the assignment by clicking on the submit button as shown below.

Once the student click on submit button, a new window will pop up, where they can browse and upload their assignment by clicking Upload Now as shown below
