It takes at least 50 hours of hard work to create notes available at Lecturenotes which is helping thousands of students like you. In an effort to appreciate their efforts and reward them to continue sharing and improving their contents, we have introduced credits. It also helps the team to pay for the servers and keep developing new features to serves students in much better ways.

Why do LectureNotes need payment? Don’t they make money through Ads and mobile network usage?

It’s been a very old myth that the mobile network pays the websites. We do get some payments for displaying advertisement but those are not enough to even pay for our servers. We are 4 enthusiastic engineers working hard to create the platform to help teachers and improve our education system. We also need to pay for our food and stay. These payments will help us dedicate more time to develop and give better services to the community.

How long will I have access to the download and what happens after that?

Once you spend a credit on a download, the download gets open for 6 hours where you can retry downloading the notes 4 times. If the download still fails, you can write to support@lecturenotes.in to help sort the issue.

What happens to the credits once I pay for a download?

Accepted Answer

Once you pay with the credit, it gets transferred to the uploader of the notes you paid for. Th uploader can use the credits to download notes for himself or he can encash those credits into gift cards with LectureNotes Rewards.

I made a payment with the payment Gateway but didn’t get any credits to my account. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes due to poor network connectivity, the transaction details cannot get transferred to our servers from the Payment Gateway, leading into a status called Payment not confirmed. In such cases, you are charged at your card but didn’t get the credit as required. In such case, you will receive a mail at your registered email id with an Order Id. Please send the issue details with the order id so that our team can investigate the transaction detail and give you the required credits.
